Manipur’s Kuki MLAs Demand AFSPA Extension To Recover Looted Arms

Ten Kuki MLAs from the Manipur Assembly, including seven from the ruling BJP-led alliance, have called for the extension of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) across the entire state. The lawmakers made this demand to facilitate the recovery of arms looted during recent unrest. The call for AFSPA extension follows growing security concerns.
