Andhra Pradesh Renames Medical College In Honor Of Pingali Venkaiah

 Andhra Pradesh govt has renamed the Govt Medical College in Machilipatnam to Sri Pingali Venkaiah Govt Medical College, paying tribute to the designer of the Indian flag. Special Chief Secretary M.T. Krishna Babu issued the order following a proposal from the Director of Medical Education, acknowledging Venkaiah’s contributions and fulfilling local aspirations.
