Air India Flight Returns After Wrong Aircraft Deployed

An Air India Delhi-Vancouver flight was forced to return after seven hours when it was found the Boeing 777-200LR used wasn’t approved for Canada. The airline cited an operational lapse in assigning aircraft. Passengers were safely accommodated, and the flight departed the next day with the correct Boeing 777-300ER, per standard procedures.
