Uttar Pradesh is set to cross 1,000 million litres in liquor exports by 2026, the state distillery association said. Production capacity has more than doubled since 2017-18, with 85 distilleries now operational. Exports surged 155% to 743 million litres in 2022-23, driven by policy reforms, investor confidence, and the “Made in UP” branding initiative.
