Adani Power Jharkhand Limited has halved its electricity supply to Bangladesh due to outstanding bills totaling USD 846 million. The reduction, reported by local media, has led to a shortfall of over 1,600 MW. Adani had previously warned the Bangladesh Power Development Board to clear dues by October 30, citing rising charges and payment delays, amidst ongoing negotiations for letter of credit issuance.
