Bishnupur Ambush: 2 Assam Rifles Personnel Dead, 5 Hurt

Two Assam Rifles jawans, Naik Subedar Shyam Gurung and Rifleman Keshap, were killed, and five others injured in an ambush by unidentified gunmen in Manipur’s Bishnupur district on Friday evening. The attack occurred near Nambol Sabal Leikai around 5:50 pm. Injured personnel were shifted to RIMS, where they are stable. Search operations are underway.
