DGCA May Ban Power Banks On Flights After IndiGo Fire Incident

Following a fire caused by a passenger’s power bank on an IndiGo Delhi-Dimapur flight, the DGCA is reviewing safety norms and may ban in-flight use or carriage of power banks. No injuries were reported as crew quickly controlled the fire. The Civil Aviation Ministry is coordinating to draft new safety measures.
