Japan PM Takaichi Reaffirms Taiwan Stance And Stability

Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi reiterated that Japan’s position on Taiwan remains unchanged while calling for “constructive” ties with China. She said that during last month’s talks, she and President Xi Jinping agreed to advance a strategic partnership. Takaichi emphasized the need for a stable relationship between Tokyo and Beijing.
