All meat, poultry, and egg shops across Hyderabad will remain closed today in observance of Mahavir Jayanti. The GHMC has directed all slaughterhouses and related businesses within its limits to shut operations and warned of strict action against any violations, urging residents and shopkeepers to comply with the festive-day restrictions.
