Guwahati Airport Showcases Assam Culture Through Bamboo Design 

Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati has been beautifully decorated with bamboo-inspired architecture. Around 140 metric tons of bamboo were used to reflect Assam’s culture through a foxtail orchid theme with natural materials. Nearly one lakh local plants form a sky forest, a nature-integrated airport environment for travelers.
