Lord Kartikeya: Devotees To Celebrate Subramanya Shashti On Dec 7

Subramanya Shashti, also known as ‘Skanda Shashti’, is observed on the 6th day of the waxing moon (Shukla Paksha) in the Hindu lunar month. This year, the festival will be celebrated from December 6, 12:08 pm, to December 7, 11:06 am. On this day, devotees fast and offer special prayers to Lord Kartikeya. The festival commemorates Lord Subramanya’s victory over the demon Tarakasura.
