Telangana Rains Damage 1357 Poles, 280 Transformers

Heavy rains in Telangana caused major power disruptions, collapsing 1,357 poles and damaging 280 transformers. Medak district was worst hit, with 971 poles down. TGSPDCL staff braved floods, even crossing rivers, to restore supply in affected villages. Several substations were flooded, and power lines damaged across multiple districts.
