India’s passenger vehicle segment posted 4.12 lakh wholesales, up 18.7% year-on-year, while two-wheeler sales rose to 19.44 lakh units and three-wheelers reached 72,000 units. SIAM attributed the surge to festive demand and GST 2.0 reforms. Director General Rajesh Menon said all major categories achieved their highest-ever sales levels.
