India Tops World With Most Public Holidays

According to the Economic Times, India has the most government holidays in the world, with about 42 public holidays including Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Independence Day, and Republic Day. Other countries have fewer holidays: Nepal 35, Iran and Myanmar 26, Sri Lanka 25, Malaysia 24, and Fiji 23. India leads globally in public holidays.
