Rains Damage Paddy Crops In Tamil Nadu’s Cauvery Delta

Rains continued in Tamil Nadu’s Cauvery delta on Wednesday, affecting standing paddy crops. Leader of the Opposition, Edappadi K Palaniswami, urged the state government to provide relief to affected farmers. Crops were submerged in several areas, including Tiruvarur, Thiruthuraipoondi, and Mayiladuthurai, with farmers estimating damage to crops on at least 2,000 acres.
