The anti-corruption body Lokpal has called off its tender to buy seven BMW 3 Series cars worth around Rs 5 crore after widespread criticism from opposition parties and civil society. Officials confirmed the cancellation followed a full bench resolution. The tender had included mandatory driver training and delivery guidelines.
