Centre Reveals 1,300 Vacancies In IAS, 586 In IPS In Rajya Sabha

As of January 1, 2024, over 1,300 IAS posts and 586 IPS posts remain vacant, Union Minister Jitendra Singh informed the Rajya Sabha. The vacancies include direct recruitment and promotion positions. Additionally, 1,042 IFS posts are unfilled. The minister also shared details on appointments made to these services from various categories during the 2022 and 2024 Civil Services Examinations.
