Supreme Court Extends Relaxation Of Air Pollution Curbs

Supreme Court on Thursday allowed the relaxation of GRAP-4 curbs on severe air pollution until further orders. The court also instructed the Centre to consider appointing top experts in environment, agriculture, and related fields to the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) in advisory roles. The Delhi government informed the court about a potential year-round firecracker ban.
