External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar informed the Rajya Sabha that the United States has deported 3,258 Indian nationals since January 2025, marking the highest yearly total since 2009. He also mentioned that a cumulative total of 18,822 Indians have been deported over the past 16 years. Jaishankar was responding to a query raised by SP MP Ramjilal Suman.
