Classical Singer Chhannulal Mishra Passes Away

Hindustani classical maestro Pandit Channulal Mishra, 89, passed away today, October 2, 2025, at his daughter’s home in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, due to age-related ailments. Hospitalized for 17-18 days, he died around 4 AM, his daughter Namrata Mishra said. His last rites will be held in Varanasi at 5 PM. He is survived by his son and three daughters.
