Security agencies in central Delhi have issued a high alert following intelligence about a possible Lashkar-e-Taiba IED attack near Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. The threat appears linked to a February 6 Islamabad mosque blast. Surveillance and security have been tightened at temples and crowded areas, recalling the deadly Red Fort car explosion in Nov 2025.
