PM Internship Scheme Launch Deferred As Centre Receives 6.2 Lakh Applications

The PM Internship Scheme has received over 6.2 lakh applications for 1.3 lakh opportunities. Postponed for review, the scheme aims to provide internships for 10 million youth in top 500 companies over 5 years. Participants will gain 12-month exposure in various sectors. Leading companies like Mahindra, Tata, and L&T are involved. The scheme includes 80,000 opportunities in 24 sectors.
