Flight Ticket Prices Set to Rise Following Fuel Price Hike

Flight tickets are expected to rise as oil companies have increased aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices by ₹1,318 per kilolitre, following a previous hike of ₹2,941.5. Current ATF rates are ₹91,856.84 in Delhi and ₹95,231.49 in Chennai. Since fuel costs significantly impact airline operating expenses, this increase is likely to lead to higher ticket prices, especially during the busy holiday season.
