ED Case: University Promoters Declared Economic Offenders

A special PMLA court in Shimla declared Manav Bharti University promoters Mandeep Rana and his mother, Ashoni Kanwar, fugitive economic offenders in a money laundering case linked to an alleged fake degree scam. The declaration was made under the Fugitive Economic Offenders Act. Both are accused and Australia-based, according to ED.
