Stock Market To Open On Sept 8 Despite Mumbai’s Eid Holiday

The Maharashtra government has declared Monday, September 8, 2025, a public holiday in Mumbai and suburbs for Eid‑e‑Milad‑un‑Nabi, shifting it from the original date of September 5. Despite the holiday in Mumbai, the Indian stock market, Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE), will remain open for trading on that day.
