“Jana Nayagan” Producers Move SC Against HC Verdict

A plea challenging the Madras High Court stay on an order directing the Censor Board to grant a U/A certificate to Tamil film “Jana Nayagan,” starring actor and TVK founder Vijay, was filed in the Supreme Court today. The move coincided with Vijay’s Delhi visit for a CBI probe into the Karur stampede. The Censor Board has objected, citing military emblems issue.
