TB Death Cases Are Reduced Over 10Yrs: WHO

The WHO confirms that TB death cases are reduced over 10yrs according  global TB report 2025. India has achieved a 21% reduction in tb incidence, falling from 237 cases per lakh in 2015 to 187 per lakh in 2024. Central TB Division sources refuted claims of rising cases, crediting early detection, strengthened surveillance, and expanded coverage.
