An intense coldwave is tightening its grip over Telangana and parts of AP with daytime temperatures plunging sharply. Several TG districts are witnessing their coldest readings in nearly a decade, prompting the RMC to issue an orange alert. Adilabad dipped to 6.7°C, while Medak, Hyderabad, Ramagundam and surrounding regions also reported low temperatures.
