3 Foreigners Received Citizenship Among 12: Assam CM

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that only three foreigners have received citizenship of India against 12 people in Assam. He also said that it is a drawback to CAA for getting very few applications and fewer selected people among them compared to earlier years. He also said that in 2024 they received nearly 20-25 lakh applications for the citizenship.
