Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi accused Rwanda of breaching a US-brokered peace agreement days after signing it in Washington. Clashes between Rwanda-backed M23 rebels and Congolese forces killed at least 36 people in Sange and disrupted implementation efforts. The US urged Rwanda to prevent further escalation along the eastern Congo border.
