The Trump govt set a target for federal agents to arrest 3,000 immigrants per day, or over a million per year, under its anti-immigration drive. The Enforcement and Removal Operations department will handle immigration enforcement, including arrests and detentions. Homeland Security Investigations will deal with investigating transnational crimes.
