The Telangana govt has issued G.O. No. 103, introducing major amendments to the Media Accreditation Rules-2025, aimed at strengthening inclusivity and accountability in journalism. Along with prioritising women in accreditation allotment, the revised norms mandate media organisations to ensure at least 33 percent representation of women as desk journalists.
