A high-speed train derailed near Adamuz, Andalusia, Spain, colliding with an oncoming train and killing 21, injuring over 70. 100’s of passengers were trapped in twisted carriages, complicating rescue efforts. Authorities warned the death toll may rise. Transport Minister Oscar Puente called the accident “extremely strange,” as the first train was nearly new.
