Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi laid the foundation for a ₹1,647 crore power grid project at Uchchabali in Keonjhar. The 420/220 KV substation will benefit about 7.17 lakh consumers. He said Keonjhar will be developed as eastern India’s second Jamshedpur, with upgraded grids, digitalization, and improved power management across the state.
