‘Grant Bail, Next Day…’: SC Shocked In Senthil Balaji Case

The Supreme Court expressed concern over DMK leader Senthil Balaji’s reinstatement as a Tamil Nadu minister shortly after receiving bail in a corruption case. The court said, “We grant bail, and the next day you go and become Minister, anybody will be bound under the impression. Justice AS Oka remarked on potential pressure, and the case was adjourned to Dec 13 for further instructions.
