Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao assured that every farmer who suffered losses due to the cyclone Montha will be supported. He said that farmers who have lost their crops will be provided with assistance of ₹10,000 per acre. He added that a preliminary estimate has been made that there has been crop damage in 4.5 lakh acres in the state.
