Karnataka Declares Holiday For Schools, Colleges After Manmohan Singh’s Death

The Karnataka govt has declared a holiday on December 27 for schools, colleges, and offices to mourn the death of former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced the closure, with public celebrations restricted and the national flag flown at half-mast. The banks will reopen on December 30.
