Satara Judge & Three Others Face Bribery Charges In Bail Case

A district and sessions judge in Satara, along with three others, is facing bribery charges after allegedly demanding Rs 5 lakh to grant bail in a fraud case. The Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Pune unit registered the case after a 24-year-old woman from Pune filed a complaint. The bribe demand was verified between December 3rd and 9th.
