Asha Bhosle, legendary singer and Padma Vibhushan recipient, was accorded a state funeral in Mumbai today. Her son Anand Bhosle lit the pyre. She passed away at age 92 at Breach Candy Hospital after a chest infection, fatigue, and multi-organ failure. She was cremated with state honors at the Shivanji Park crematorium in Mumbai city.
