The Srisailam project, located in Andhra Pradesh’s Nandyal district, has received a record 2,105 TMC of floodwater since June 1, surpassing previous highs of 2,039 TMC in 1994-95 and 2022-23. Officials expect another 100 TMC this season. Also, 1,382 TMC from the Krishna basin and 3,905 TMC from the Godavari have flowed into the Bay of Bengal.
