Ashwini Vaishnaw Highlights Land Acquisition Delays For Kerala Rail Projects

Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has raised concerns over delays in land acquisition for railway projects in Kerala. In a letter to CM Pinarayi Vijayan, Vaishnaw noted that only 64 hectares of the required 470 hectares have been acquired, despite the Centre’s payment of over ₹2,100 crore. These delays impact ₹12,350 crore worth of railway infrastructure projects.
