44 Transgenders Appointed As Traffic Assistants In Hyderabad

Hyderabad Police recruited 44 transgenders as traffic assistants after physical tests, including running, long jump, and shot put, at Goshamahal Police Ground. Out of 58 participants, 29 female and 15 male transgenders were selected. This first-of-its-kind recruitment follows CM Revanth Reddy’s directive to include transgenders in the Hyd Traffic Police Department.
