Delhi is set to experience intense heat in the coming days as temperatures cross 40°C in several areas. Safdarjung recorded 39.2°C, while the Ridge touched 40.7°C. The India Meteorological Department expects highs of 40-41°C, with rising night temperatures around 21°C, signalling continued hot and dry conditions across the capital region.
