Mumbai Pod-Taxi Project Moves Forward Toward Launch

Maharashtra is moving ahead with pod taxis, and the Bhoomi Pujan for the Mira–Bhayandar route is expected within six months. The government believes this new transport system will ease pressure on crowded roads and trains. CM Fadnavis wants the network linked with Mumbai’s smart card system and better connections near Kurla and Bandra stations.
