Bombay HC asserted that there is no legal prohibition against holding rallies to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mysore ruler Tipu Sultan. Court directed Pune Rural SP to allow such rallies while imposing necessary conditions to maintain public order. “You decide the route but you cannot say that it has to be held in a private place,” the court said.
