Calcutta High Court Backs SIT Probe Into Messi Event

The Calcutta High Court refused to interfere with the SIT probe into chaos during Lionel Messi’s December 13 event at Salt Lake Stadium. A Division Bench led by Acting Chief Justice Sujoy Paul said the investigation is at a preliminary stage with no evidence of bias. PILs seeking a CBI probe and ticket refunds were not accepted.
