Chess grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky, 29, a former child prodigy and influential American player, has passed away. Trained at Charlotte Chess Club, he became a grandmaster at 18, won the Under-12 World Championship, authored strategy books, and excelled in blitz chess, recently claiming the US National Blitz Championship. Cause of death is unknown.
