Drinking Water In Tamil Nadu Village Polluted By Human Waste

Human waste was found in an overhead drinking water tank in Amachiapuram village, Madurai district, alarming over 1,000 residents, mostly from the Scheduled Caste community. Police detained a 14-year-old boy suspected of contaminating the tank. Officials ordered cleaning and health checks as villagers demanded immediate restoration of safe water.
