Iran has set to introduced a maritime tol on oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian parliamentary committee approved the Hormuz Management Plan, imposing a fee of Rs 18 crore per tanker. This move is also expected to raise global oil transport costs significantly, adding pressure on international shipping and fuel markets.
