Over 300 flights were delayed at Delhi’s IGI Airport after a technical glitch crippled the Air Traffic Control system. The issue in the Automatic Message Switching System forced controllers to process flight plans manually, causing long queues, cancellations, and ripple delays at northern airports. Restoration work is underway to resume normal operations soon.
